International Advanced Level Achieved in Menhow's RF Flexible Printed Circuit Technology

Recently, the project Research and Application of Key Technologies for RF Flexible printed circuits, led by Suzhou Menhow has successfully passed the scientific and technological achievement evaluation organized by the China Productivity Society, with a comprehensive score of 90.02. Its overall technology has reached the international advanced level in the field of precision silver paste printing thickness control.
As a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and production of membrane switches, flexible printed electronic, flexible sensor and Stretchable printed circuit, Suzhou Menhow has long been deeply engaged in flexible electronics and precision intelligent manufacturing. Centering on RF flexible printed circuits, the project carried out technological breakthroughs from three dimensions: material system, precision manufacturing, high-frequency performance and reliability guarantee, forming a full-chain technical closed loop covering materials, processes, performance and verification.

The project adopts high-quality PET and PI flexible film substrates, matched with self-developed screen print silver paste and conductive ink. With processes such as plasma surface modification, it greatly improves the adaptability of circuits in bending, high-low temperature and humid-heat environments. By innovatively adopting the etching-free additive process, laser direct writing plate-making and high-precision CCD visual alignment technology, it realizes fine line printing of 80~150μm, with overprint accuracy controlled within ±0.1mm. Supported by a low-temperature curing process at 80~150°C, it is compatible with roll-to-roll continuous mass production, with the yield rate steadily maintaining above 98%.

The achievement meets multi-band signal requirements including LTE/5G Sub-6GHz, millimeter wave, Wi-Fi and Beidou navigation. Its operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C, reaching the application standards for base station and vehicle-grade scenarios. After 1,000-hour aging test under 85°C/85%RH, it maintains excellent electrical performance and dimensional stability. Up to now, the project has obtained 4 authorized invention patents and 6 utility model patents. The products have passed tests by authoritative institutions and been mass-applied by multiple customers with favorable market feedback.
